Handsomely Suited Three Ties Birthday Card

I don't know about you, but I am always on the lookout for masculine sets that can make a variety of card designs. The Handsomely Suited Bundle fills that need very well.

This Bundle came out in the January-June Mini Catalog, so between now and the end of June you can still save 10% when you get the stamp and die bundle.

After that date, the stamp set and dies are still available in the 2021 Annual Catalog but not at the 10% savings. The Well Suited Designer Series Paper also goes away. So if you love the Designer Series Paper that goes so well with this set, be sure to buy it before June 30th.

This layout was cased from Emma Goddard.
The fun part of this design is you have a myriad of tie combinations when you use both sides of the Well Suited Designer Series Paper. So have fun with that!

Here's the products used to make this card:
Night of Navy cardstock and ink
Basic White cardstock
Well Suited Designer Series Paper
Suit and Ties Dies
Retired - Stitched Nested Label Dies
Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Dimensionals
Paper Trimmer
Paper Snips
Cut and Emboss Machine

You can find these items at my online store by clicking the Shop Online box below.

Come back tomorrow for another masculine birthday card idea. See you then!

Try Nothings Better Than Stamp Set

Are you a Chocolate Lover? Oh my Oh my, my sweet tooth sure is. Chocolate and caramel
is my absolute favorite and anything with mint comes in a close second.

The card I'm sharing with you today is cased from Carol's Creative Corner. All I changed
up was what I stamped on the white oval, because that is how I feel about chocolate!
Chocolate DOES make everything better until it hits your hips! HA!

The collar fold technique is fun because you get to show both sides of Designer Series Paper
(DSP) when you use it. Just find the middle of your and cut in approximately two inches.
I do not recommend using your scoring blade or score board as it most likely will rip your
paper. I just carefully turned my flaps over by hand and scored gently with my finger nail.

The size of the piece of Basic White behind the collar fold is 2-1/2" x 5-1/4".

It's always fun to stamp a little something on the inside layer of your card. Surprise your
recipient!

I stamped the chocolates in Soft Suede ink, but you can do it in any shade of brown you like.

The piece of retired striped Designer Series Paper is from 8-9 years ago, so I'm sorry I don't have
an official name for it anymore. Just trying to use up my collection. Good thing paper lasts
a very long time!

Here's a different coloration using Bumblebee. I also tried using a retired ink pad - Baked Brown Sugar for the "milk' chocolate. I like the result. Hope you do too!

This stamp set and papers are available to purchase in my online store. Just click
the button below.

Have a lovely, creative day!

April's So Cool Paper Pumpkin Kit Creations

I LOVE the April "So Cool" Paper Pumpkin Kit so
much, I couldn't resist making color photocopies of the
large watermelon, rainbow, and popsicles so I could
create lots more cards! As you can see I went a
little crazy!

Here's some of my creations I'm not done yet, LOL.
Many designs were cased or inspired by others from
the Paper Pumpkin Fan Club on Facebook. I also
used some Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper
along with the printed envelope liners.

I used the drip stamp from the Sweet Ice Cream
stamp set to create the "seedy" background on
Poppy Parade cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink.

Easel Card idea was inspired by Debbie Henderson.
Closed card above, open cards below.
I was lucky I had some very retired slimline
envelopes that were perfect for these cards to
slide into!

I hope these photos will inspire you to make your
Paper Pumpkin kit if you haven't already. If you
don't want to miss out on the next kit, you can
sign up HERE to start your own box of fun
coming each month to you! It's the best value
around for only $22!

Floral Hand Penned Birthday Card

It's planting time in the Pacific Northwest!
Earlier this week I sowed the seeds for my
summer flower collection directly into my
raised beds. They went with a prayer
that they will grow and produce lovely
flowers like they have the past several
summers. I planted two kinds of
sunflowers (did you know they have a
white variety? I can't wait to see!),
snapdragon, stock, zinnia, china asters,
larkspur, black eyed susans, sweet peas,
pincushion flowers, and dusty miller.

I love being able to cut bouquets of flowers
in late summer to bring into my home. Below
are pictures from last summer's garden.
Quite the bounty!

If you love florals then the Hand-Penned Suite is just
what you need to get. This card is very easy to make with
no stamping, just a little fussy cutting and die cutting,
you'll have this beauty made in no time!

You start with Pale Papaya cardstock. Using the
Scalloped Contours Dies, cut out the two shapes
shown in Just Jade and Misty Moonlight cardstock.
Select the Hand Penned Memories and More Cards
shown from the pack of lovely choices.

Grab your paper snips and fussy cut around the one
image as shown in the photo. Cut a 5" piece of the
Pale Papaya ribbon and wrap it around the adhered
Misty Moonlight and Hand-Penned Designer Series
Paper layers by fastening with scotch tape. Affix that
set to the card front. Adhere the Just Jade shape
to the card front. Add dimensionals to the fussy cut
floral and attach to Just Jade shape. Finish by adding
dimensionals to the Happy Birthday sticker and
adding the Genial Gems as shown.

Inside peek of the Basic White layer with another sticker
added for a little pop!

You can use this layout idea with several of the
Memories and More cards from the pack. Give it a try.

You can purchase the products used in this card HERE.

The value you get with the Memories and More card packs
allows you to create multiple, quick easy cards or add them
to your photo albums for a pop of color. Give them a try!

Happy Creating!

Lovely Hand-Penned Card

Hello! Last Christmas I tried my hand at using a
shaped die to make a card base and today I've
tried it again using the Scalloped Contour Dies
on Mint Macaron cardstock.

I love how the scalloped edges look so
great! The trick is to fold/score your paper in half
and make sure that the die goes past the fold so you are
just cutting the three sides you want to cut when you
run it through your die cutting machine.

Again I used the Hand-Penned Memories and More card pack,
but this time I colored the flowers and leaves on the card front
using Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends.

To me this coloring helped to coordinate the card and the
Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper together well. The colors
are so soft and pretty in my opinion.

Used another fun sticker for the inside saying. I love
how these Memories and More Cards make card
making so, so easy!

I raised up the floral image card with dimensionals
so I could tie the ribbon and bow to help the card look
a little fancy. Do you think it worked?

You can purchase these products easily with the
list HERE.

Have a creative day! Come back tomorrow for
another easy card idea.

A Week of Hand-Penned Cards for YOU

I hope you love floral cards as much as I do!
Over the next week or so I will be sharing a new card
daily with you made with products from the
Hand-Penned Suite. The floral designs are so
fabulous, I couldn't stop creating new cards to
share with you!

This card uses the Hand-Penned Memories and More
Card Pack. Those ready to use cards make card making
a snap! Cutting the Scalloped Contour die from the
Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper makes for a
great look to try yourself.

The Memories and Mores Card Pack even comes with some
stickers, so I put two on the inside of the card to give it a
finished look. It's also a lovely surprise to the recipient!

It's always a great idea to give your card some height and
using Dimensionals does the trick!

I've put together the list of products used at this link

Have fun making this easy card.
