Original Valentine

This elegant Valentine's card was an experiment with an assortment of products I had on hand. Some are retired and some came from the January 2017 Paper Pumpkin subscription kit leftovers I still had. The color scheme was Powder Pink and Rose Red cardstocks, paired with Gold Foil and Gold metallic thread.  Thanks for taking a look. Hope the layout inspires you!

Picture Perfect Party Suite Birthday Card

This card was so fun and easy to make using the Picture Perfect Party Suite on page 4 (& 5) of the Occasions Catalog.

This photo above gives you some additional ideas on how to use the realistic photograph designer series paper stack.

My original design uses Pool Party and Island Indigo cardstock layers, accented with the Picture Perfect Party 6"x 6" Designer Series Paper Stack, and paired with the Happy Birthday stamp from the Perennial Birthday stamp set on page 25 of the Occasions Catalog. I loved the bold lettering and how it works so nicely with the candle paper. The card is finished with the Tutti-Fruitti Adhesive Backed Sequins on page 29 of the OC.

Give this easy card a try. You can order products from my online store on my main page.

Petal Palette Card Assortment for January

The Petal Palette Bundle is so gorgeous, I just love it! The striking black and white color scheme can be paired with any other color and your result will be amazing!

This is page 22 from the Occasions Catalog (without the words) to illustrate some of the cute things you can do with this bundle.

This Calypso Coral version Thank You card was made at the November OnStage Convention in Salt Lake City as a Make and Take. The only thing I added when I got home was the layer behind the bird, I thought it needed a little more "pop." The Petal Passion Designer Series Paper is colored with either Stampin' Write Markers or the new Stampin' Blends alcohol based markers. Both are lovely!

On this Pool Party version, I added a little sliver of Smokey Slate cardstock behind the flower background paper to give it more texture.

This card is a CASE of Wendie Waldman's layout except I used Elegant Eggplant ink and a different choice from the stamp set for the right panel. So easy to do and so easy to mail to a friend!

This card is my combination from inspiration by Liz Shannon and Stephanie Fischer. Using Rich Razzleberry as the accent color and coloring a piece of the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper with the new Stampin' Blends, I just love how this turned out. The bow is tied using one of my large meat forks and the ribbon ends taped behind the layers using the new Whisper White 1/4" Organza ribbon.

Well, I hope these card designs will inspire you to give this bundle a try. You can order it from my online store link on the main page.  Happy Day to you!

Better Late than Never! November and December Class Cards

Wow! This fall was a whirlwind, as I was planning classes, getting ready for a craft show (which went really well by the way!) and getting ready for a trip in early December. Phew! I'm tired just thinking about it all!

November's Cards

The original idea came from www.stampitupwithjaimie.com but I made it my own.
This card used the Leaf Punch and the leaf stamp from the Painted Harvest stamp set to create the wreath. The sentiment is from Hang Your Stocking stamp set.

Gift Card Bag above was inspired by Angie Juda of www.chicnscratch.com
I used the Seasonal Chums stamp set and Be Merry Designer Series Paper.

Above card - inspired by Valory Degree
The Vintage Leaves stamp set and Autumn Harvest Designer Series Paper was used here.

Dawn Olchefske was the original designer of the above card, but I loved the layered look so had to try it for myself. I used the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set and a retired set called Hand Penned Holidays.

December's Cards
These are the other two cards we did besides my previous posts about the BELIEVE Eclipse Card and the At Home Z-fold Card.

Unfortunately I didn't write down who inspired this card, but I do know I made it my own by stamping Santa and his reindeer in the sky from the set Hearts Come Home. Next this card uses Santa's Sleigh Framelits to cut out the trees on the Big Shot. Then  use the Softly Falling Embossing Folder to create the snow falling. Finish by adding the Wild Wasabi, Very Vanilla ribbon, and pearls.

The card above was cased from Judy Garza at www.stampingwithjudyg.blogspot.com
The Snowflake Sentiments and Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits were used here.

Thanks for taking a look. Maybe you will be inspired to make your own Christmas cards next holiday season!

Really, Really Late - Here's the October 2017 Class Cards

October's Class Cards

The Halloween card above was inspired by Mindy Bingamon.
The main card parts were Labels to Love Stamp set, the Everyday Label punch, Foil Frenzy Designer Series Paper and retired black spider web doilies.

The above two cards were inspired by Catherine Proctor and Mary Fish. I took the best of both their card designs and combined them!
My stampers had a choice of Smokey Slate or Pool Party color schemes. The Hearts Come Home stamp set, Hometown Greetings Thinlits were used. You can use whatever snowy background paper you have on hand.

This card above was cased from www.card-i-ology by Jari.com
I just love the Year of Cheer Speciality Designer Series Paper that was in the 2017 Holiday Catalog, and combine that with the Watercolor Christmas stamp set, copper heat embossing powder and the copper ribbon, you have quite the stunning card!

Above this card was cased from a German Demonstrator - Frie's Schnipselecke
I loved the special folds and the ability to use one of my favorite stamp sets - Painted Harvest.

I love the Mini Pizza boxes, so I used the Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper stack, the Quilt Builder Framelits and the Quilted Top Embossing Folder to make these cute 3x3 cards that fit perfectly into the pizza box for a great gift for a friend.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Another Petal Passion Suite Card Idea

If you love coloring then this design has plenty for you to do! The Petal Passion Designer Series Paper is so great. It takes the Stampin' Write Markers so well. Another fun thing I did was layer the new Tutti-Fruiti Adhesive Backed Sequins with the Black Rhinestone jewels on top. I love how there is a little sparkle!

Petal Passion Suite Card Idea

This pretty card was so easy to create. I just love the Petal Passion Suite in the new 2018 Occasions Catalog. The floral image was easy to color with the new Blends pens. Always do the light color first, then add accents with the dark pen. Use the Thick  Whisper White cardstock which allows for easy flow of the color and no bleeding if you are careful by coloring with very light pressure. Just for fun I tore the edge of the Designer Series Paper for a little added texture.
