Cards to Swap at Convention

Here's the assortment of card fronts I swapped. I was inspired by the "Grow" theme so flower cards were on my brain. I made about 100 in a combination of card fronts and little gift card purses. I learned the little purses were considered 3D items. It was so fun to swap with all the friendly folks at Convention. I got a lot of wonderful new ideas to inspire our creativity.

Lots of inspiration when visiting the Product Park at Convention!

Convention Main Stage

The theme as you can see was "Grow."  Grow in your creativity, inspiring others, and believing in yourself!

Convention 2011

Amazing and Wonderful is what the Stampin' Up! Convention is. It was held in Salt Lake City, Utah between July 13-16. I wasn't sure what to expect as a first timer, but I went prepared with 100 swaps.  Over the course of those days, I  swapped, yakked, toured the home office, attended classes on project ideas, watched sample demonstrations on how to conduct workshops, made make 'n takes, snapped over 150 photos of wonderful ideas that surrounded me and just soaked in all the creativity.  I came home with 5 stamp sets, My Digital Studio content CD and a set of the new Holiday Mini Catalog that comes out on Sept. 1. Oh my gosh, there is  a lot of beautiful ideas in that!  SU spoiled us with an amazing conference tote bag, free Idea Book & Catalog with coordinating binder and so much more. I even did a little shopping in the Memento Mall. The speakers were inspiring and all the women (and a few men) were so friendly. It was like we were one big family!  I can't wait to go back next year and maybe you'll want to join me in all the fun!

Welcome to my New Blog

It's been about eight months that I've been a demonstrator, but now I'm finally ready to blog about my adventures with my Stampin' Up! business. It's been an amazing start and I've really been having fun being creative. Welcome to the place where I'll be posting my card and project designs and sharing great ideas I find on the web as I do "research." I hope you'll join me on this journey of creativity and inspiration!
