More Updates! March 31 Camp Designs

Here's the card designs for the Stamp Camp I had right before Spring Break started. We were squeezing in the last chance orders for Sale-A-Bration.

This lovely card came straight from our Stampin' Success magazine (designed by Jenny Peterson) that I receive by being a demonstrator. I loved it just the way it was.  Some of my ladies changed the sentiment to Sympathy or Happy Birthday, but it was still lovely any way you made it. This card used the Very Vintage stamp set and Everyday Enchantment DSP both from the Sale-a-bration catalog.  The Label Framelits were from the Occasion-Mini Catalog.

This card was inspired by my fellow demonstrator Lisa F., who I went to Convention with last year. Thanks for the inspiration!  Using the Twitterpated DSP, Bordering on Romance stamp set, and Baja Breeze, Island Indigo, and Blushing Bride cardstocks, I thought this card came together very nicely with the hand watercolored image and the Victoria Crochet trim. Simple but cute!

This is another card I borrowed straight from my Stampin' Success magazine (forgive me, but I can't remember the designer's name) that used more of the Twitterpated DSP, the Blushing Bride pleated satin ribbon, and the new Edgelits Dies and the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.  The only thing I changed was the Pear Pizazz seam binding bow. I absolutely love the Mixed Bunch flower image heat embossed with white embossing powder. I will admit however, I'm still learning how to get a perfect, straight, lined up edge with these new tools. Practice, practice, practice!

I'm proud to say that this card design is an original straight from my brain!  I wanted to  use the You're My Type set and the Well Worn DSP, so this is my result!  I did try a new technique again offered from my Stampin' Success magazine, called "Tapping". I used the Woodgrain background stamp with Not Quite Navy ink, then tapped the Early Espresso marker around the stamp to create a subtle two-color effect on the custom tag. I also used the Crop-a-dile to punch half circles into the card edge for placing and tying the two ribbons. A potentially masculine card, don't you think?

Spring Break UpDates! from March 3-4 Camp

Again, time has flown and I'm behind!  Let me share with you my card designs for two Stamp Camps I held in March. They were so fun! I love my group of ladies, but there's always room for more!

I cased this card from splitcoaststampers.com, but modified it just a bit, by using different size circles from my Creative Memories circle makers, and doubling the 1/8" organza ribbon in both Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade. The color scheme was Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral and the Sale-a-bration DSP Everyday Enchantment.

I love the Gnome Sweet Gnome set and used an assortment of DSP  to create simple but classy cards. I hand colored the gnome with the watercolor pencils. I used the window punch to make an elongated window that was just perfect for the sentiment. Base cardstock was Pacific Point, with Real Red accenting.

Another card I cased but I changed it by using the Stripes Embossing Folder for the Big Shot, which I thought went nicely with the 1-1/8" wide Grosgrain Ribbon. Color Scheme was Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, and Very Vanilla. Used the Apothecary Art Stamp Set and the new Framelits for the Big Shot. I hand trimmed the Very Vanilla frame.

Another card I cased from splitcoaststampers.com, but I just loved it just as it was. Color scheme was Soft Suede, Pool Party, Peach Parfait and Very Vanilla. Stamp Set was Everybunny from the main 2011 Idea Book and Catalog.
