Double Wonder Cards to Make & Share

Do you ever run out of cards to have on hand for that quick need or surprise occasion? The Double Wonder template solves that problem quickly and easily by using what you already have in your stash. The template (below) allows you to make 11 cards quickly. You can stamp your choice of sentiment with whatever stamp you have in your collection. Then embellish however you'd like. You don't have to run to the store and spend big bucks when you can whip up a card with a little love added in.

The cards above use the new Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper which coordinates so great with Just Jade, Pear Pizazz, Garden Green, and Shaded Spruce cardstocks. The labels come from Stitched So Sweetly Dies and Tasteful Labels Dies. The Whisper White ribbon and Shaded Spruce ribbon are retired. The Just Jade 1/4" ribbon is current. The rhinestone bling is also retired.

The cards above used retired Designer Series Paper called Lily Impressions from the spring's Sale-a-Bration offering.  Cardstock used was Pool Party, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, and Petal Pink. The die cut tags are from the same sets mentioned in the top photo.

Special Thanks to Shannon West of the Stampin' Up! Home Office for creating this Double Wonder layout. It was modified by another Stampin' Up! Demonstrator LeeAnn Greff. I appreciate their sharing of this layout.

Have fun being creative!

Original Father's Day Card

Every year since becoming a demonstrator I make my husband's Father's Day card. Here is this years creation. Maybe you can use it as inspiration for a masculine birthday card? The majority of the products are retired, but the new Jar Punch and Mason Jar Shaker Domes were fun to fill with all the loose screws we had in our junk drawer.

Here's a hint: I glued the entire piece of polka dot paper to a Whisper White piece the same size (4" x 5-1/4"), then I needed to cut across the double layer just below where the woodgrain paper was going, so I could punch out the jar shape easily.  Be sure to take into consideration the margin needed for the adhesive edges of the Mason Jar Shaker Dome prior to punching the jar out. Then I saved the punched out jar and glued it to a 1/4" larger scrap of Whisper White all around. So when I put the jar punch-out back into position after filling the jar with the collected screws, the adhesive portion of the shaker dome had a secure spot to adhere to. I scotch taped the edges of my extra piece to the back of the whisper white original layer. Then I taped the lower piece of Whisper White I had cut off back in place to be ready for the card base. (By doing this the screws wouldn't fall out when I put the Early Espresso card base in place.)

Products Used:

Stamp Set:  Nailed It (retired)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Early Espresso and Whisper White cardstock, Neutrals Designer Series Paper (very retired), Silver Foil, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (retired)
