September Card Class Cards to Enjoy

Well, I've fallen miserably behind in my postings but I'm going to catch up ASAP! The start of the school year this fall really slowed me down. Luckily, there is still time to make some of these beautiful cards before the holidays!

This cute Z fold  card was inspired by Susie Wood. The stamp set is Pictogram Punches. The color scheme is Lost Lagoon, Tangerine Tango and Whisper White with Flowerpot Designer Series Paper. The flowers use the Bitty Accents Punch Pack and Mini Brads. Lost Lagoon ribbon finishes it off.

This snowflake card design was inspired by www.stampintx.com. It uses three stamp sets. Christmas Bliss, Work of Art, and Joy to the World. The color combo is Soft Sky, Smokey Slate, Marina Mist and Whisper White. Black Stazon Ink for all stamping then finished up the Rhinestone Jewels.

This cute card was inspired by Laurie Willison.  The Stamp sets are Something to Say and Cupcake Party. The color scheme is Wisteria Wonder, Crumb Cake, Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe and Whisper White. The Cupcake punch was used along with Apothecary Accents Framelits. The Scallop Border Embossing Folder is retired. The cupcake is accented with Pearl Jewels.

This is my original design. The Color Scheme is Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler with Champagne Glimmer Paper and Whisper White. The Distressed Dots Embossing Folder is used. I used the Festival of Trees Stamp Set and the verse from Endless Wishes. The punches are Tree Punch,  Modern Label, Large Oval, and Scallop Oval. It's hard to see but the red balls on the tree were heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder, then additional Champagne Glimmer Paper balls were hole-punched with a normal sized hole punch. The trees are mounted above Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

Cupcake Party Card

I was inspired by a design on Pinterest but made it my own using the following color scheme. Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizazz, Crisp Cantaloupe, and Pool Party plus the card base of Whisper White complete the soft color palette. Using the Cupcake Party set, the cupcake punch, and Curly Label punch, plus candy dots just makes this card good enough to eat!  Enjoy!

Western Bootiful Occasions!

Using the Bootiful Occasions stamp set along with the new Fringe Scissors makes for a very fun card!  The color scheme is Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie, Hello Honey, Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla. Star punch accents are done with the Champagne Glimmer Paper. Oval shapes cut on the Big Shot with the Oval Framelits. The boot is stamped in Black Stazon Ink, so it can be hand colored with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker. The card uses the new Mossy Meadow ribbon behind the ovals for a little pop!  Yee-Haw! Hope you love it!

Yummy Sumthin' Sumthin' Cupcake Card

   Closed view

  Open view

The color combination of Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush, Very Vanilla, and Shimmery White is just so scrumptious!  I love how this card turned out using the half easel layout. The two stamp sets are Sumthin' Sumthin' and Cupcake Party. I used the Word Bubbles Framelits, the cupcake punch, the small heart punch, and hand colored the Surprise Bubble to get the two tone effect. The card is finished with the thick Strawberry Slush Baker's Twine.

Blackberry Bliss Blended Bloom Thank you card

This is my original design using two new stamp sets from the Annual Catalog. The Blended Bloom stamp and the Watercolor Thank You (stamped in black Stazon ink). It's a little hard to tell but the color scheme is Whisper White, Basic Black, and Blackberry Bliss. I used the light Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities Marker to color the inside of the Blackberry Bliss inked bloom and finished it off with a rhinestone jewel. The Large Polka Dot embossing folder gives the card dimension. Embellishments include the 5/8 " Organza Ribbon and the Bitty Butterfly punch using Silver Glimmer Paper accented with Rhinestone Jewels. Bold, Dramatic, with a touch of Bling!

Beauty of the Season - New Christmas Stamp

Here's a start on Christmas that easy to make and easy to mail.  My original design uses the Beauty of the Season stamp set (#135779 $16.95)  showing a lovely cardinal on a berry branch. Handcoloring is just what is needed to make this card POP!  The color scheme is Old Olive, Early Espresso, Real Red, and Whisper White. Use your Stampin' Write marker to carefully color  the bird, branch, and berries. Then finish it off with another new set called Christmas Bliss (#138897 $15.95) for the verse of your choice. The verse set is photopolymer and if you use the piercing mat as a base you will get beautiful stamped images on your cardstock.  I stamped the verse in Early Espresso, then punched the verse out using the Modern Label punch and finished by sponging it lightly with Old Olive ink. The ribbon I used is retired but the new catalog has a great alternative in the 1/4" Cotton Ribbon in Real Red.

Have fun and thanks for stopping by!

Feeling Sentimental Masculine Card

I was inspired by Amy Storie's design, so I cased it. It uses a former Sale-a-bration set called Feeling Sentimental, a retired Designer Series Paper, plus Old Olive, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla cardstock. It's a simple design that can be adapted to whatever you might have on hand. I love the masculine look, so I made a bunch to have on hand.
