Sneak Peek #3 - Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set

Here's another fun card layout for you using the new Dragonfly Garden stamp set!  Have you ever tried to layer three different pieces of matching Designer Series Paper? It's so fun to compare the different sides and see what pleases your eye. Using the Dragonfly Punch to create the "negative space" look of the Whisper White dragonflies is a fun trick to use. Try it!

Sneak Peek #2 - Dragonfly Garden Bundle

Here's another peek at the wonderful Dandy Garden Suite in the new January-June 2021 Mini Catalog that goes live on January 5th.That dragonfly sure pops off the card front! I just love how the combination of Bumblebee, Misty Moonlight and Whisper White colors work so nicely together.

This card is very easy to make for a casual stamper that loves quick cards.

1) Misty Moonlight card base.

2) Whisper White Layer with dragonflies stamped in Bumblebee ink as a background.

3) Three pieces of the matching Designer Series Paper.

4) Bumblebee cardstock layer with extra set of wings stamped in Bumblebee to make a shadow.

5) Dragonfly stamped in Misty Moonlight ink, then punched out with the Dragonfly Punch and raised on the card front with Dimensionals.

Sneak Peek #1 - Dandy Garden Suite

To show you the versatility of this Suite, here's one card design idea for you using Mossy Meadow, Bumblebee, and Whisper White. That Bumblebee inked Dragonfly looks like it is soaring right across the card face! The Ladybug Trinkets go on easily with a Glue Dot too.

Gift Wrapped Gift Card Holders

Here's an easy Gift Card Holder using Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper and the Gift Wrapped Stamp set with Bow Punch. I was inspired by Jan Musselman's design. However, you can take whatever you have in your holiday paper stash and crank these gift card holders out very quickly. Your gift recipients will be thrilled to receive this fun fold card.

Inside View

Cutting Dimensions:

Card Base - Crumb Cake - 4-1/4" X 5-1/2"

Layer - Shaded Spruce  - 4" x 5-1/4"

Layer - Plaid Tidings DSP - 3-3/4" x 5"

For Gift Card Top Section:

Cherry Cobbler - 3-1/8" x 10-1/2", score at 4-1/4" and 8-1/2"

Strip of Plaid Tidings 1" wide x 3-1/4" adhered to Whisper White prior to die cutting

Stitched So Sweetly Dies - Scalloped Rectangle with Whisper White 3-1/4" x 4-1/4"

Then emboss with Tasteful Textures Embossing Folder

Shaded Spruce 2-1/2" square for Bow stamp in Memento Ink and punched out. Raise with Dimensionals and add Rhinestones.

For Gift Card Liner:

Whisper White 2-7/8" x 4", stamped as shown with Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce inks

For Gift Card Pocket front -  Plaid Tidings DSP 1-3/4" x 2-7/8" then punch out small section with 1-3/4" circle punch. Then use Tear and Tape to affix pocket closed along both side seams.

Gift Wrapped Meets Celebration Label Dies

The Gift Wrapped stamp set and Celebration Dies work nicely together to create this card for a friend. Isn't Mango Melody and Pretty Peacock a wonderful color combination? I just love how this card turned out. It was inspired by Debbie Reemtsen. I don't usually combine two different Designer Series Papers (DSP) but the Brightly Gleaming DSP and Plain Tidings DSP compliment each other so well. I challenge you to give that a try.

Yes, there are some retired products used in this card, but you can always substitute what you have in your collection to make this layout your own.
