October 29 and 30, 2016 Holiday Card Designs

Hello, welcome back!

I was inspired by Stampin' Fee in Germany with this cute 4 tea light holder.  Retired set Warmest of Wishes stamped in Real Red and then used the new Layering Square Framelits on the lid. You will need 12x12 cardstock to make this.

Original design using retired Designer Series paper, but current Acorn Punch with Gold and Copper Foil paper, corrugated kraft cardstock, gold doily, burlap ribbon, and the Suite Seasons Stamp set mounted on the Lots of Labels framelits.

Inspired by Deb at Artfelt Impressions using the Woodland embossing folder and Christmas Greeting thinlits in silver foil. I changed it up by dragging a silver ink pad over the vellum that the trees were embossed on. Retired Brushed Silver paper and current Smokey Slate cardstock.

CASED design but didn't write down the designer's name. Oops!  I used Embellished Ornaments stamp set and  Delicate Ornament thinlits cut out from gold foil and Pool Party card stock. More bling with gold glimmer washi tape and rhinestones.

A direct CASE of Julie's @ The Way We Stamp design using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits and Jar of Love, Jar of Cheer, and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets. I used a slightly different washi tape and narrow gold ribbon for accent.

A direct CASE from Kim Williams at Stampinwithjoyink.typepad, com
I only added the red glimmer paper berries and the expanded Real Red Label Punch behind the greeting to give it more POP! Stamp set was Holly Berry Happiness and the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you've received some inspiration here!

Best Fishes Jar of Love Card

Lynn Dorian Swindell inspired this card layout, but I changed it up a bit with diagonal corners cut by hand, a non-Stampin' Up! bakers twine that I had in my collection, and a retired piece of "peachy" polka dot paper that is from Stampin' Up! but so old I can't remember the actual color name. Sorry!

This is a quick card, but so cheery. Give it a try!

Lemonade Crate and Jar of Love Favor

I had a "crate" full of fun making favors for my stamping group. I was inspired by a crate design I saw from Tracy Sulley,  I love the new Jar of Love stamp set, but the largest jar stamp wasn't big enough (IMHO) to make the favors, so here's how I made it larger.  I stamped the large jar on Whisper White paper with Black Stazon ink, then went to my computer printer and enlarged it a couple times until it would fit the single serve lemonade package. Then I ran Crumb Cake cardstock through my printer and voila! Jars the size I needed them. Had to fussy cut them out, but it was worth it.  The straws were left over from last summer's Paper Pumpkin kit. The tags used a greeting from a retire stamp set, but you could use whatever you like. Then I used Very Vanilla Thick Baker's Twine to tie the tag on. Lastly just a touch of snail adhesive to stick the lemonade package down.
