Post It Note and Mini Calendar Combo

My downline Anne gave me this darling Post it Note holder and Calendar combo as a "Pillow Gift" when we were together in San Diego for OnStage at Home last month.

She used Balmy Blue cardstock and Sand and Sea Designer Series Paper (retired) to create this holder. You can use whatever is in your paper stash.

A small self-stick velcro closure dot was used to close the belly band. I thought she was quite clever to hide the velcro under the punched tag and fussy cut seashell.

These types of post-it note holders make great gifts, stocking stuffers, or craft show sellers.
The mini calendars can be purchased from Taylored Expressions here. You get 10 calendars for $4.

You can use any matching cardstock and Designer Series Paper you have for these cute gifts.

Here's how to make this:
Cut your piece of cardstock 3-1/2" x 6-1/2"
Score on the long side at 3-1/2" and 4"
You'll need two pieces of Designer Series Paper at 3" square.
The belly band is 3/4" x 9-1/2" and score at 3-1/2", 4", 7-1/2", and 8"
The Designer Series Paper for the band is 1/2" x 3"
You can decide how you would like the decoration on the front to be.
Cut your velcro circles in 1/2 so it won't be too hard to open the holder.
Use the Tombow Liquid Multipurpose glue for this project.

Have fun making these! They are a very thoughtful and useful gift!
