Extra Cute Hot Cocoa Holder Gift Idea and More

On the Friday of OnStage at Home last month, my downline Anne and I went to our demo friend, Lori's beautiful home to watch Day 2 of the virtual convention. Once again Lori spoiled us with yummy foods and beverages like she did the day before at lunch. Look at her darling tiered tray breakfast display below.

On the bottom tier were delicious vegan pumpkin muffins for us to enjoy. OMG! They were so good! She shared her Pinterest post with me. Here's the recipe link to those yummy muffins if you want to give them a try.

Then later in the morning, Lori provided more snack food as we watched and took notes. I wish I took a photo of them all, but they were new yummies I hadn't ever tried before and I loved every bite of them. Especially the tangerine and vanilla macadamia and mango trail mix, an apple and mango fruit bar, and Trader Joe's 100 calories pure Belgian Chocolate bar. (Note to Self - go shop at Trader Joes asap when I get home!)

Lori also had a lovely coffee and tea bar, but she passed out this darling Hot Chocolate mix in its own custom holder!

I haven't ever had Mexican Style Hot Chocolate Mix, but I'm saving it for a special occasion!

Here's how she made it.
Real Red cardstock 4-1/4" x 9-1/2", scored at 3" on the long side.
Secured the pocket sides with liquid glue.
Added two pieces of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper - 2-3/4" x 4" on the front and back.
With the Detailed Trio Punch, punch each upper corner.
With a 1/8" hole punch, punch two holes on the right side edge and thread the 3/8" Real Red Organza Ribbon through the holes and tie a bow.

For the Lower pocket decoration, you'll need Diorama Dies and Basic White to die cut one of the shapes. Then with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and the Sweets and Treats stamp set, stamp the "cake."
Lori colored the "cake" with Stampin' Blends pens in assorted colors.
She finished it with a small scrap of cord tied in a bow.

This packet holder can be used for a variety of beverage packets besides Hot Chocolate. Think about what you might put in one! They would make a darling gift for a co-worker!
Have fun!
