Happy Halloween With One Extra Card for YOU

I hope everyone has a Halloween that they love!

I had not tried a Criss Cross Card Fun Fold before. Oh my, they are so easy!

You need one piece of 4-1/4" x 11" cardstock, scored at 5-1/2". Then you will make one diagonal cut on your paper trimmer from the scoreline to the downward front corner. The cardstock piece you cut off is flipped over and will become the other front piece once the Designer Series Paper is attached.

However, don't use one-directional Designer Series Paper like I did. I wanted to use the Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper, but guess what? It was one-directional, so I ended up using two pieces instead of the one 4" x 5-1/4" piece that you need to slice diagonally and flip over one side. Both of the scalene triangles will fit precisely on the front cardstock pieces.

I also dug through my leftover Paper Pumpkin kit materials and came up with the cute Boo and skeleton to decorate the Scalloped Rectangle Die shapes that I die cut out. You can position those rectangles however you'd like. They are meant to cover up whatever you stamp inside on your card liner.

Just search YouTube for Criss Cross Cards as there are many videos to show you this fun fold.

Of course, don't forget to decorate your envelope flap either!

Have a Happy Halloween!

Treat Yourself Easy Sliced Card Front

Halloween is coming really soon, so here's a super easy card you can make multiples of in short order! Check it out!

My dear demo friend Lori P designed a similar card (Thanks Lori!), but I created a "peek a boo" version by only using one piece of Designer Series Paper and flipping over the top section before adhering to the card base.

With your paper trimmer slice diagonally across your piece of 4" x 5-1/4" Cute Halloween DSP wherever you would like. Then flip the top piece over so you'll be creating a little "peek a boo window" on the card base.  Adhere the lower piece of DSP first and then line up the top piece so right edge lines up well.

Decorate the inside of the card with the 3/4" piece of DSP that was left over and add a fussy cut ghost image for extra cuteness.

Products Used in Creating this Card and available to order at the link below:

Basic Black cardstock  for card base
Cute Halloween 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP)
Layering Circles Dies
Basic White cardstock for die cut circle
Pumpkin Pie cardstock for scalloped circle
Greeting stamp from Sweet Ice Cream stamp set
Basic White for inner card layer
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Holiday Rhinestones Basic Jewels
Paper Snips for fussy cutting images
Dimensionals

Even though Halloween is just a week away, it's not too late to use some of your paper stash to whip up some similar cards for family and friends! Have a fun time doing that!
