Make Your Own Card Layer Templates

Are you a visual or hands-on type of learner? If so, then this set of Card Layer Templates is what you should make for yourself. It will allow you to experiment with layer sizes in relation to a card base you have prepared.

These layers are in 1/8" increments which are different than yesterday's template I shared.

I made my set from retired cardstock in the colors of Island Indigo and Tempting Turquoise. (Figured they wouldn't get buried on my craft desk if I made them in this color combination.) If you are careful you should be able to get these cut from 2-3 sheets of cardstock for each color.

Print your labels first (shown below,) then you will know what size to cut your cardstock and you can place the correct label on the piece when you finish cutting it out.

The way I've stacked them is to illustrate the size difference among the layers.

I made these labels in 24 pt font. You'll get two sets from a sheet, so you could give one set to a friend.

Here is how they look all spread out.

This photo shows you some examples of playing with mixing and matching layers together to see what kind of look you can create. Have fun with your practicing, then your cards will turn out perfectly just how you want them to!

I'd love to read your comments below. Have a lovely day!
