Ladybug Hello Card and Hope Decor

Ladybugs are good garden helpers. I love it when they crawl on my hand. Do you?

My intent by creating this ladybug card and hope box set was to bring cheer to a friend who may be going through a tough time. You too could make this set with the supplies I've listed to lift up one of your friends. Or make several sets to have on hand.

The color combination of Daffodil Delight, Basic Black and Poppy Parade really POP together. Replicating the polka dots of the retired embossing folder with the dots on the ladybug is fun! Then having the contrast with the Daffodil Delight Gingham paper and the Black and White Gingham Ribbon work nicely together.

Here's a tip for you to conserve paper. The Scalloped Oval Die cut out from the center of the Poppy Parade cardstock, became the piece of cardstock I used to punch out the scalloped heart with the Heart Punch Pack set.

Hope Box Wall Decor

I saw an idea of a vertical hanging panel with the word home down it with the ladybug for the O. Then I remembered I had a couple dozen of these little boxes I got at Michael's Craft Store before the pandemic, so I pulled one out for this project. Given the state of the world these days I thought Hope was a better word choice for this project, I'm like my result.

This is a Sweet Gift Set for a dear friend!

As a Fun Bonus!

I always provide some type of treat at the stamping table for my customers. Usually it is a paper favor that just could replicate, but I had seen this idea online and just HAD to try it.

The ladies were very complimentary and surprised with their treat.

About These Yummy Treats!

Double Stuffed Oreos are covered with Red Candy Melts and Milk Chocolate with 1/4" sugar candy eyes (should have used 3/8" eyes, would have made them more fun!)

They were placed in Stampin' Up! 3" x 6" Printed Gusseted Cellophane Bags ties with Retired Thick Baker's Twine in Cherry Cobbler. Made a Thick Basic White tray for the cookies to sit on. Starting size were 3" x 4.25", then scored 1/2" on both sides of the length, so finished tray was 2" x 4.25" for the two cookies to sit on.

The tags were 1" strips of Thick Basic White with names done in Calligraphy. The Ladybug brads I  had for ages and decided they would be cute on the tag.

So I hope you will give these projects and treats a try and make someone's day! They are not hard and go together quickly. (Try not to eat too many Oreos while making the treats however!)

The current products listed above are available in my online store at the yellow link below.  Thanks for supporting my business. Have a great day!
