Sneak Peek for Colour INKspiration Challenge #106

EDITED TO ANNOUNCE  My card was selected to be in the top Five! Wahoo! So Excited!

If you are wondering why I spelled the word color wrong, it is because the group of fabulous artisans who started this Challenge 100 plus color combinations ago, are all from "Down Under."  I found this group by accident on Facebook, but I asked to join. It has been having fun coming up with original ideas to submit bi-monthly depending on the colors selected by the group.

My submission this time uses the current Sale-a-Bration stamp set, Textures and Frames (image shown below). If you look closely you'll see the rectangle has one slanted end. I thought it would be fun to play with that shape and turn it 180 degrees and see what happens. It took me two tries to get the images evenly stamped, but I'm happy with the result.

Textures and Frames Sale-a-Bration stamp set.
You can receive this set Free with a $50USD order before shipping and tax.

The Happy Birthday greeting comes from the Handsomely Suited stamp set. The Double Oval Pinch and retired Nesting Labels Dies were also used. The Night of Navy 1/2" Gingham Ribbon is also retired. Being able to use retired Stampin' Up! items is another reason I like this color challenge. It's all about the color statement!

I encourage you to play with repeated shaped designs when you stamp. You'll never know what surprises you'll achieve!
