Going to Grandmas

Here's my first card to share with you using the Curvy Christmas Stamp Set and Curvy Dies. Some stamping, some die cutting, and some fussy cutting. I think it turned out pretty cute. Do you agree? Let me know your thoughts in a comment.

Here's a tip for you!
  • Prepare your Whisper White layer 4" x 5-1/4" but don't glue it down to the Crushed Curry 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base, scored at 4-1/4".
  • Cut your two pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP) 2" x 6" and set the curvy die on it one sheet at a time. After die cutting each sheet you now have some flexibility in matching the curves. Don't glue them down yet either. Save the extra parts for the inner card layer.
  • Then lay the curved stamps where you want them on the Whisper White and press Clear Block I down on the stamp.  The trees were stamped in Shaded Spruce. The stars were stamped in Crushed Curry.
  • Once you are happy with your stamped images, now you may glue the DSP down to the Whisper White layer. With paper snips trim off any excess DSP. Now glue your card front to the card base.

The fun touches that were added are houses and people fussy cut from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper and raised with Dimensionals.
  • Star embellishments added from All the Trimmings package.
  • Tag is 5/8" wide and cut to length using the Tailored Tag Punch. Insert just one end of the tag at a time into one "V" portion of the die, center it and punch, the result a perfect tag end.
