Triple Panel Celebrate Sunflowers Color Combos

If you ever need a quick and easy card FAST, try this layout idea. This triple panel card is so versatile you can use it with Designer Series Paper (DSP), stamp your own images or any other way you can think of to create 3 panels of lovely! I cased this layout idea from LeeAnn Greff who cased it from Barbara Graham. I experimented with adding the small sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set & Sunflower Dies and with a variety of  cardstock color combinations.

The five cards above were sent out for a small fall card swap I was part of.
With the exception of one card above, I thought the center stamped panel should be the color
of the card base with all the examples I made.

Here's the basics of making this easy card layout:
1. Begin with three coordinating colors of cardstock or DSP cut at 3-1/2" x 4-1/2".
2. Cut these pieces into three strips 1-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall. (You will have enough to make 3 cards.)
3. Mix the color strips until you are happy with how they look. With a small amount of tape adhesive affix them to the middle of a scrap piece of bond paper. Make sure each strip is touching side by side. That way when you stamp your chosen image you will get a good result. Remove them carefully from the bond paper.
4. Select and prepare 3 card bases that match your color scheme. (5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored/folded).
5. Cut a cardstock layer to match your color scheme 3-3/4" x 5". This will be the layer you arrange and affix your stamped strips to.
6. Decide on what ever additional image you'd like to use for the card front to go along with your greeting tag. Make 3 of those. Affix to card front. Add any embellishments you desire.

I hope this card idea will help you make some easy cards with supplies you have on hand. It's a good way to use up some smaller scraps you may have lying around.
