Anniversary Card with Technique Tip

I was needing an anniversary card and thanks to Alisa Tilsner she inspired me to create this card. It is a combo of SU products (both current & retired).
Technique Tip: The big A-HA I discovered was using the Subtle Embossing Folder to hide the imperfections that happen when using my well-loved Big Shot & plates after I die cut the numbers. Just send it through a second time in the EF and voila! Problems easily hidden with texture! I really like how this trick made the foil numbers look even fancier! Give it a try!
Retired SU products used - Number Your Years Stamp set, Number Dies
From a Paper Pumpkin Kit - Mango Melody Seam Binding
Non-SU products - Red Sequins, Spray bottle with water in it
Below are the current SU products to purchase at my online store.
Product List
Paper Snips
[103579]
$10.00
Grid Paper
[130148]
$12.50

I hope you were as surprised as I was about this technique tip. Give it a try!

Easy Graduation Cards

Here's some fun and easy Graduation cards you can create. Five different cards result using just two stamps. Of course you can customize to whatever school colors you need. My local high school's colors are maroon and gold.

Here's the general supplies I used:
Soon to be retired stamp set Witty-cisms
current set Peaceful Moments
retired Starburst Punch
retired 1-3/4" Circle Punch
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
non- Stampin' Up! 1/4" black satin ribbon
assorted long retired embellishments I had on hand

Each card had the sentiment stamped inside and the envelope enhanced too.

The card directly above had the Subtle embossing folder used on the Whisper White after it was stamped. The result was a nice layer of texture.

These first three cards used Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, and Whisper White Cardstock. The graduation caps were colored with Dark Cherry Cobbler and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends.

This card adds a layer of silver foil and the use of the  Subtle embossing folder on
the Whisper White after it was stamped. The result was a nice layer of texture.

This card adds a layer of silver foil run through the Big Shot in the Hammered Embossing Folder. A small silver metallic pearl is added to the top of the grad cap.

Any graduate in your life would love to receive one of these hand-stamped
and handmade cards from you!

Some of the items mentioned in this post can be purchased at my online store. Just click the "Shop Stampin' Up! tab above. Enjoy  your creativity!

Share Sunshine Cards with Others

I created these cheery cards to send to essential workers I know who have been
sacrificing so much during this Covid-19 season.

I hope you'll take advantage of the opportunity to purchase the Share Sunshine download that I mentioned in the previous post. Only $12 and you get 15 pages of wonder sayings to use in your cardmaking. Just print with your computer printer on Whisper White cardstock and you'll be set!  Here's the link below again.

You can create cards with whatever you have on hand. For the three cards above I used the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Jan.-June 2020 Mini Catalog. Colors are Flirty Flamingo and Real Red cardstocks.

These two cards used some of my retired Lily Designer Series Paper from this year's Sale-a-Bration sales period. I matched it with Pretty Peacock and Petal Pink cardstock. Simple but elegant.

Thanks for stopping by and considering participating in this opportunity.
