Easy Graduation Cards

Here's some fun and easy Graduation cards you can create. Five different cards result using just two stamps. Of course you can customize to whatever school colors you need. My local high school's colors are maroon and gold.

Here's the general supplies I used:
Soon to be retired stamp set Witty-cisms
current set Peaceful Moments
retired Starburst Punch
retired 1-3/4" Circle Punch
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
non- Stampin' Up! 1/4" black satin ribbon
assorted long retired embellishments I had on hand

Each card had the sentiment stamped inside and the envelope enhanced too.

The card directly above had the Subtle embossing folder used on the Whisper White after it was stamped. The result was a nice layer of texture.

These first three cards used Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, and Whisper White Cardstock. The graduation caps were colored with Dark Cherry Cobbler and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends.

This card adds a layer of silver foil and the use of the  Subtle embossing folder on
the Whisper White after it was stamped. The result was a nice layer of texture.

This card adds a layer of silver foil run through the Big Shot in the Hammered Embossing Folder. A small silver metallic pearl is added to the top of the grad cap.

Any graduate in your life would love to receive one of these hand-stamped
and handmade cards from you!

Some of the items mentioned in this post can be purchased at my online store. Just click the "Shop Stampin' Up! tab above. Enjoy  your creativity!

January 11 and 12 Class Cards

Happy New Year!!!

This card was influenced by a sample I made at the Las Vegas On Stage event I went to in mid November. It uses the new Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper found in the new Jan.- June Mini Catalog. I added background circles from the Sweetly Swirled stamp set done in Poppy Parade ink on the Poppy Parade card base. The Whisper White tag has a sentiment from the new Sale-A-Bration set called Sending You Thoughts. The ribbon is retired from the 2018 Annual Catalog.

Starting with a Petal Pink card base with a scoring edge technique done with the Score Board, I built a layer with Lovely Lipstick cardstock and the new 6X6 Best Dressed Designer Series Paper Stack that included this lovely floral. The card is finished with some retired from last year's Sale-A-Bration - Lovely Lipstick Foil and a Whisper White layer stamped in Petal Pink ink with a floral from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set, then on top the sentiment stamped in Lovely Lipstick ink from the same set. The circle sizes are 2-1/4" and 2-1/2". The card is finished with retired Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots.

Everyone loved this fun design where the fairy is "writing" the Happy Birthday sentiment. The color scheme is Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. The fairy comes from the host set called New Wonders. She was stamped with Black Memento Ink then colored with an assortment of the Blends alcohol markers and additional sparkle was added with the Wink of Stella pen. The sentiment also comes from the same set. The retired Marbled background stamp was used. The card was finished with current 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon.

This is another card that was influenced by a sample I made at the November Las Vegas On Stage event. It is built on Pool Party card stock, with a layer of vellum card stock, then uses the reverse side of one of the sheets of new Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper found in the new Jan.- June Mini Catalog. The new stamp set is called Forever Blossoms. It was stamped with Gray Granite ink, then colored with Petal Pink and Old Olive Blends pens and finished off with a little Wink of Stella sparkle.  The tag is made using a sentiment from the new So Sentimental set and then punched out with the Timeless Label Punch. The new 1/4" Petal Pink ribbon accents the card along with the new Champagne Rhinestones.

I just love puns so the new set called Witty-cisms is just my style. This card was built on a Real Red card base embossed with the Subtle embossing folder. Then a layer of Basic Black, a layer of Mosaic Designer Series Paper and a layer of Whisper White with the sentiment stamped in Memento Ink and colored with Blends. Both the mosaic layer and berry layer were cut out with the new Stitched So Sweetly dies. Finally I punched a 1/8" hole at both ends and used some very retired 1/4" Real Red ribbon to bring the layout together.

Finally this wedding card is just so elegant and very easy to make. You start with the Silver cards and envelopes in the Annual Catalog and cut one additional layer of Whisper White to do the heat embossing on. The sentiment came from the new So Sentimental set, and the floral from the Bloom and Grow set. Using Versa Mark ink, Silver heat emboss powder, and my heat gun the result is amazing. A few rhinestones are added for a little bling!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are inspired to try some of the designs.
