Make a Wizard Gnome!

The Gnome for the Holidays stamp set is found in the August to Dec. Mini Catalog. It's such a cute set I've made three cards from it that I will show you over the next three days. Today is Day 1.
This card is my original design.

Let's Create this Card!

1. Cut 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Night of Navy cardstock card base. Score at 4-1/4"

2. Cut Copper Foil at 4" x 5-1/4"

3. Cut star design sheet of the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper at 3-3/4" x 5"

4. Adhere the Copper Foil and Star layers together.

5. With a 6" piece of  the retired Balmy Blue 1/4" Organza Ribbon wrap across the card front and scotch tape ribbon ends on the foil back of those two layers as shown. With a separate piece of ribbon - tie a bow and set aside for now. Use Dimensionals to place the double layers on the card base as shown.

6. With your die cutting machine and the Stitched Nested Labels Dies, cut a 2-1/4" x 4" piece of Copper Foil out, then cut a 2" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White out.

7. With the Memento Black Ink, stamp your wizard gnome image as shown on the Whisper White cut out cardstock.

8. Color the Wizard image as shown with the Light Stampin' Blends of Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, and Smokey Slate. When finished coloring, affix to Copper Foil and use Dimensionals to place on card front.

9. Stamp the greeting on a scrap of Whisper White and punch out with retired Word Window Punch.

10. With the Pick a Punch Lovely Labels punch and a 1/2" wide strip of Copper Foil, punch one end of the strip. Save the punched out end for a moment. Here's a tip for you! Lay your greeting on top of the copper strip and use the saved copper foil end as a pattern to know where to draw the line to cut off the length of the foil strip, so when you put it into the punch it will be the exact length you need for the word window greeting. Adhere both layers together. Use mini-dimensionals to raise the greeting off the card front as shown.

11. With Glue Dots place the bow where you think it looks best.  You made a lovely card!
