Bootiful Halloween

This is the last of the four cards we made for October's Stamp Camp. Using the Bootiful Occasions stamp set I couldn't resist making this card. Color scheme is a Tangerine Tango cardstock base, then a Basic Black Dotted Ribbon Scallop Border punched edge, mounted underneath a piece of Howlstooth and Scaringbone Designer Series Paper with the edge scalloped using the Large Scallop Edgelits and the Big Shot. A 1" circle punch provided the accent using the new Champagne Glitter Paper. The stamped image was done with Black Stazon ink, hand colored with Stampin' Write Markers in Tangerine Tango and Lucky Limeade, finished with a bow of the 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon. Corners were rounded on both the stamped image layer and the Basic Black layer underneath. Another fun card to give to celebrate October 31!

Googly Ghoul Halloween Card

Here's the third card design from last week's stamp camp. Simple but cute. Using the Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper and the Googly Ghouls stamp set, it was easy to make. Base card is Whisper White cardstock with Basic Gray and the DSP mounted on a Basic Black mat. Then the pennant was made Whisper White on Basic Black, stamping the ghoul and greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes with Black Stazon ink. Using the Pennant Punch two flags were made embellished with a Pumpkin Pie button threaded with Linen Thread. Last but not least, the googly eye was set into place. A fun card to give!

Special Thank You!

Just wanted to give a shout out to

for giving my blog a little makeover. I love it!

Fall Thank You

This is another one of my card designs from Stamp Camp last week. This card is built on a Whisper White base with Big Shot embossed Crumb Cake done with the new woodgrain folder. Then the Gently Falling Stamp set leaves were combined  in the colors of Soft Suede and Early Espresso, More Mustard and Pumpkin Pie, and Certainly Celery with Old Olive. The brown ribbon was from last fall's Holiday Mini, so sorry, it's no longer available. I used Petite Pairs for the greeting stamped in Early Espresso on 1" square punch of Whisper White, mounted on the Scallop Square punch done in Early Espresso.  You could easily turn this card into a Thanksgiving card as well. Enjoy!
P.S. This card was inspired by Dianne Sisneros' card.

Birthday Card

I know this card isn't very fall-ish but I still like and hope you do too!  This is one of four of my stamp camp cards for the month of October. I was inspired by a swap I received at Convention, but don't have a name to credit.
Very simple card to construct: Whisper White and Wild Wasabi cardstocks. Floral District Designer Series Paper - 3 different designs. Sassy Salutations Stamp Set, with Brights glimmer brad.
I learned a trick about cutting those pennant ends perfectly while I was at Regional last weekend. The suggestion was to cut in the middle of the strip and go in as far you desire, THEN do the two angle cuts. Voila!

Tacoma Regional Swap Card

Last Saturday was Stampin' Up!s Regional Event in Tacoma. I had a grand time attending with my team. This card was my main swap card. I used a Whisper White base with Crumb Cake dry embossed with the Lattice folder, then used the Gently Falling stamp set for the leaves.  The mat under the leaf images is Early Espresso. My ink colors were Certainly Celery - Old Olive, Baja Breeze - Pacific Point, and Soft Suede - Early Espresso for the two step stamping. The ribbon was leftover from last year's Holiday Mini, so it is no longer available. The punches were 1-3/8" scallop square and 1" square.  All in all - a pleasing combination.  P. S. This card was inspired by Dianne Sisneros' card.
