October Stamp Club - Six Sided Hexagon - CASEs

Both of these cute cards were CASEd, unfortunately I can't give credit where it's due. I'm sorry. I just like how versatile this set is. So many ways to combine the hexagons to make fun, cheery cards. The hexagon dry embossing folder helps bring the designs together!  I also love the idea of using one of the hexagon designs to punch the bitty butterfly from.

October Stamp Club - Halloween Original

This month at Stamp Club I was emphasizing the Six Sided Sampler set. This card is an original design turning the hexagon into a pumpkin! What do you think? I couldn't resist using some googlie-eyes and a hand drawn mouth. I also wanted to see what dry embossing on Designer Series Paper would look like and I like the result.  Thanks for taking a look.

Sympathy Card

This card design was inspired by Julie Wadlinger of See Julie Stamp. This card is built on the new Smoky Slate cardstock, with Pacific Point flag top and bottom, Soft Sky with honeycomb embossing folder, and Whisper White layer stamped with sentiment from Thoughts & Prayers in Pacific Point ink. Floral images are from the Fabulous Florets set. Leaves are stamped in Wild Wasabi and flowers are stamped in Smoky Slate and fussy cut out. The flower centers are brads from 2012 Sell-a-bration that I had on hand. The card is finished with tearing the corner to expose the honeycomb and attaching a bow made from the 1/4" Whisper White stitched grosgrain ribbon. I love the result of the various textures.   Thanks for taking a look!

The Rest of the Cards from Stamp Camp April 13-14

I have to admit I was crunched for time so I let Pinterest be my inspiration for my April Camps. The saying "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" sure should honor the designers I was inspired by, listed below.

This card was a direct CASE from  www.handstampedstyle.com via Pinterest. It uses the Betsy's Blossom set and Friendly Phrases set. The color scheme is Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery, and Island Indigo. I love how the postage stamp punch creates a whole new look with the flower from Betsy's Blossom.

This Thank You card was inspired by  www.stamptasticdesigns.blogspot.com  via Pinterest and www.stampingwithdawn.com Triple Layer technique.  I love my color combination of Midnight Muse, Gumball Green, and Soft Suede. The button in the center is from a decade old set of SU buttons and it matches perfectly! What goes around comes around!

This Birthday card uses the use Best of Birthday set celebrating SU 25th Anniversary. This card is a combination inspired by Rita Wright at www.freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com  and Julie Cluff at www.stampingjulie.com both via Pinterest.  The color scheme is Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake 3/8" taffeta ribbon with safety pin accent. The Coordinations paper is slightly sanded for a more primitive look. The Designer Series paper is some leftover I had from the Holiday Catalog called Candlelight Christmas DSP. A little hand coloring with SU markers finishes the cupcake!
