January Stamp Club Card Designs

The holidays sure have thrown me off from my blogging, but here's the card designs we made at this month's stamp club.

This card is CASEd from Julie Davison, but I loved the simplicity of it. The only thing I added was running the edge of the oval framelit in the gold ink to match the washi tape.  Yippee Skippy stamp set brought us the verse.

This Happy Birthday card's layout is mine, but the inspiration for the Hexagon Star is from Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek from Song of my Heart blog. Color Scheme is Raspberry Ripple, Birthday Basics DSP, Basic Black, Very Vanilla. The rest is Banner Greetings Stamp set, Raspberry Ripple ink, Hexagon Punch, Candy Dots, Big Shot, and Scallops Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

This card is a CASE from It's a Stamp Thing by Vicki Burdick. I've admired this card layout for a while and just decided to go for it. The Pleasant Poppies background stamp looks so nice on the Modern Medley DSP when stamped with Black Stazon. Color Scheme is Crumb Cake, retired colors Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose. I love how the fussy cut flowers "pop" from the card with dimensional and glue dots after coloring them with the ink and blender pens. Add the scallop border punch, large pearls, and the two ribbon colors; and the result is a lovely card to give.

This design is all mine!  Color scheme is Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Gold Foil and some Summer Starfruit retired DSP, plus the Cajun Craze extra-long tag. Happy Day stamp set, Sunflower background stamp, Gold Embossing Powder, Versamark ink, Heat Gun, Deco Labels framelits, Ticket punch, and the Gold wrapped Baker's Twine literally tie this card together!

Thanks for stopping by to take a look! Happy Stamping!

Wedding Swap Card for Hilton Event prior to SU Convention

I've had such fun working with this design. I had to make 77 cards and get them shipped off for the swap organizer and her elves to have the time to make sure everyone gets all the swaps they are supposed to prior to the swap on July 17.

Here's the materials list:
Stamp Sets: Banner Greetings, Sweetly Framed, Love & Laughter
Cardstock: Brush Silver, Basic Black, Whisper White, Silver Glimmer Paper
Ink: Black Stazon, Illuminate, Basic Gray
Punches: Itty Bitty Shapes, Ticket Duo
Big Shot and Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
Accessories: 5/8" White Organza Ribbon, Rhinestone Jewels, Stampin' Trimmer, and Paper Snips
Adhesives: Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Snail adhesive
Techniques - 1) sponged Illuminate ink over all white paper and the 'mr & mrs' banner
2) used two pieces of ribbon so you can get the flat knot to show, then scotch tape the ends around back.

This design could also be for an anniversary card as well as a wedding card.  I think it would lend itself to be done in a variety of color themes.
