The Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder and Die are Amazing

My original design using the Merriest Frames Hybrid embossing folder and dies turned out just how I imagined! What do you think? I’d love to hear in the comments.

The Merriest Frames Hybrid is quite amazing! You can just emboss. You can just die cut. You can do both at the same time!!! My mind is blown! Kudos to the person who came up with this invention!

In the close up photo below you can see the detail the Merriest Frames Hybrid gives. The Soft Succulent Layer is just embossed. The Evening Evergreen layer was embossed at the same time the detailed edge was cut, because the die just fits perfectly in a groove in the embossing folder. The last step was to place the intricate die on the cut out with the magnetic plate, so the connected leaves could have the detailed places cut out between them.

The embossing folder and die set also comes with an extra rectangular die with a stitched edge detail for the center recessed die cut.

I thought using last year’s retired Peace and Joy Dies would make the perfect color balance with the three layers of Joy! Adding the fussy cut “to the World” just ties the design together!
