OnStage@Home Day 3

 World Kindness Day falls on the third day and last day of OnStage at Home. Hope you’ve been extra kind  to someone today.

All good things must come to an end, even OnStage. I’m always sad to see it end since it is such a positive experience every time I attend one, whether virtual or in person.  Here I am all set to what the first general session.

Today there were more stamping presentations, a session to do three make and take cards, some business tips shared, and a fun game of “Master Stamper” based on all the reality shows. There were several presentations made about a variety of ways to find new customers.Three prizes  (a stamp set, ribbon and a package of embellishments) were given that we will be able to collect with our next order! It’s always fun to receive some extra new products to use! 

Every Convention always ends with a Shelli Gardner (mom and Founder) and Sara Douglass (daughter and CEO). Their presentation is always funny and entertaining as only a mom and daughter can do.

Shelli also announced where next year’s OnStage will be in person - Vienna Austria. Oh how I wish I could go! There will be some one day events during that time, so I bet there will be one I can attend on the west coast.

This was a much needed boost and I’m so glad I got to experience it with Anne and Lori!

Here’s some more of the surprises I brought down to Anne and Lori.

This locking slider card I brought so we could make together on Thursday before the evening program On Stage started. I will share detailed instructions in the coming week or so.

One of my customers, Leslie, showed me the gift card holders she was making and I said CUTE! So I went to the place she said she got her directions from, but decided I had to tweak the gift card holder a bit, so here’s what I came up with. I gave these to Anne and Lori with a Starbucks gift card inside. They were very surprised!  I will share directions in the coming weeks.

Now to put all the wonderful new ideas I gleaned from OnStage into practice for the coming month’s classes. You are gonna love the new products coming in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog and the January-February Sale-a-bration Brochure. Some amazing creations to get inspiration from and wonderful products to add to your stamping supplies.

Here's one of the little gifts I brought my downline Anne, and Lori (my adopted downline) since we are viewing OnStage together in San Diego at both Anne’s and Lori’s homes virtually.

Cute little double tea bag holder!

6” x 5” Designer Series Paper of your choice. Score on the 6” side at 1-1-2” to turn up to make the pocket. I used liquid glue to seal the center section at the spine and the two outer edges. Use a fun stamp set to decorate the front and coordinating ribbon. Put in two packages of your favorite tea. Tie a bow. Gift is ready!

I also brought them a Crossover Gate Fold Card. It was a fun fold I hadn't seen before, so wanted to share the idea with them.  I will post more about this next week when I’m back home.

There was lots to learn today during the Virtual Convention. The CEO Sara Douglas opened the day with a welcome and advice on personal development to become the best version of yourself. There were multiple stamping demonstrations from Demonstrators in all of Stampin’ Up!s markets - North America, Europe and South Pacific. Then there were also some Breakout sessions about helping new team members to thrive, how to surprise and delight your customers, and ways to write Call to Actions in all of your social media posts. 

Information was also shared about Stampin’ Up! as a company. Lots of facts and figures, but the four things I found most interesting were the 57,124 current Demonstrators in the three markets all together. They have a retention rate of 92% which I was happy to hear since they are such a great company to be part of. They currently have a variety of 2,393 products in the current catalogs (Annual and Fall Mini.) That’s a lot of stamp sets, ink, papers, and tools!  Their annual revenue for 2020 was 233 million. 

I am so happy to be back in my hometown area where I grew up with warm sunny weather, but not too hot. It’s so great to enjoy this virtual convention with friends.

OnStage@Home begins TODAY!

 Happy Veteran's Day

Tonight starting at 4:30 p.m. the Virtual Convention called "OnStage @ Home" begins with music and entertainment! I can't wait to see who they got to perform!

It was the 2019 America’s Got Talent African Group Choir called Ndlouv. They shared 3 songs before and 4 songs after the presentations and awards. Those young people were so good. Beautiful costumes and high energy.

There will be some welcome speeches, and stamping demonstrations, and finally...

The recognition for a variety of topics: Anniversaries, Personal Sales, Leadership, Team Building, Sales Milestones, Incentive Trip Achievers, and the Top Ten in each category. It is so wonderful to see how many people so hard for their well-earned success.

I will be able to be "officially" recognized for my 10 year anniversary that was Nov. 21, 2020. I received my beautiful pen last fall. However, it is always exciting to see your name up on a screen!

I'm only a couple weeks away from my actual 11th anniversary with this great company!

I'm also excited to be able to share this experience with my downline Anne and Heidi. It is always so great to be able to talk about what you are excited about!

OnStage@Home Virtual Event

 

Due to the pandemic this year, Stampin' Up! had to get really creative to have their yearly OnStage event virtually, so they are calling it OnStage@Home. (It was going to be in Salt Lake City, a place I love to visit!)

However, I'm still excited to be attending Nov. 5-7 along with my two downline, Anne and Heidi. We are going to be receiving training, learning lots of new tips and tricks, get a sneak peek at the upcoming Jan.-June 2021 Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-bration brochure, plus make some card samples that I'll be showing in the coming weeks.
