Christmas in July Snowmen Cards

Are you a Christmas Lover who likes to get an early jump on the holidays? If so, come back daily to my blog over the next week or so for lots of Christmas card layout ideas!

Snowman Season is one of my favorite winter stamp sets along with the Snowman Builder Punch. Stampin' Up! has kept those around for a couple seasons now. Just like yesterday's post, my demo friend, Lori Perez, shared this card layout idea with her Christmas Card Club earlier this year. I just love her ideas and they are a great way to use up some retired products in my stash. You can too!

This photo is my "organized desk look." I'm all ready for class to start on Zoom.
Trust me it doesn't stay that way very long. LOL!

The directions for these three layouts are very simple!

Card 1: Vertical layout with 2" square on point. (Upper Left)
5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base with score at 4-1/4"
Designer Series Paper 4" x 5-1/4"
Designer Series Paper Strip 3/4" x 4" with stamped greeting or add
on top of strip with slightly smaller Basic White strip
Coordinating Cardstock 2-1/4" square
Designer Series Paper 2" square
Scraps for snowman and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Color and Embellish as you desire.
Basic White inner layer 4"-5-1/4"

Card 2: Vertical layout with edge strip and bakers twine. (Upper Right)
5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base with score at 4-1/4"
Designer Series Paper 3-1/2" x 5-1/4"
(I used three DSP scraps to make the front piece on the card shown below)
Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 5-1/4"
Baker's Twine
Your choice of die cut tag from cardstock
and matching Basic White tag for snowman image
Add greeting as you desire.
Color and Embellish as you desire.
Basic White inner layer 4"-5-1/4"

Card 3: Horizontal layout with double rectangles in center. (Lower Center)
5-1/2" x 8-1/2" card base with score at 4-1/4"
Designer Series Paper 4" x 5-1/4"
Designer Series Paper 2-3/4" x 4-1/8"
Basic White 2-1/4" x 3-5/8" stamped with Snowman image and greeting
The two little tabs are 1/2" x 1" pieces that are affixed to card front so it will
appear the center rectangles are being held by them.
Color and Embellish as desired.
Basic White inner layer 4"-5-1/4"

The felt accents on the upper left cards in both photos were leftover from a couple years ago. You could fussy cut your own if you have some bits of felt around. I glued them down with liquid glue.

Hope you are inspired to give these layouts a try! I'm sure glad I did!

Happy Day to YOU!
