Pretty Perennials Card #1

Do you like Perennial flowering plants? I sure do, I have a special flower bed with just perennials in there. Peony, hollyhock, hellebore, lavender, columbine, Black-eyed Susan and more. I love watching the different plants bloom between spring, summer, and fall. They bring me such joy!

The Pretty Perennials Bundle brings me joy too and is only around until the end of June, so you still have time to get this bundle, save 10% and enjoy creating cards with this gorgeous set. I absolutely love the "happy" word and how large it is.

I cased this card layout from Cindee Wilkinson. It has a simple fun fold by scoring and turning back a 1-1/4" strip on the card front. I have used retired Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper called Flower and Field, but if you can get you hands on some, it is beautiful paper.

The Casual Stamper could make multiples of this card easily to have on hand for upcoming birthday's of their friends and family.

The card base is Bumblebee cardstock cut at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4" and the 1-1/4" from the front card edge, with Basic White inside cut at 2-3/4" x 5-1/4". The greeting is stamped with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. The Designer Series Paper strips are 1" x 5-1/4" and you need two coordinating pieces (use some you have, your card will look great!)  For stamping the flowers I used Cherry Cobbler ink, Pumpkin Pie ink and cardstock and Bumblebee ink and cardstock. Finishing the card are a few Matte Black Dots.
