July Card Class Selections

Here's the cards we made at our July Stamp Class

Cased from Laura K Fiorelli-Allen

The Delightfully Detailed Laser Designer Series Specialty Paper is so beautiful, a card can be created with it alone! Blackberry Bliss and Whisper White cardstock was used, along with the sentiment stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink from the new Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. Retired Oval punches (plain and scalloped) and retired Blackberry Bliss ribbon were used. All you need is a Fine-tip Glue pen and you will have this card made in no time flat!

This Fold Out Panel Card was Cased from Dawn Griffith with one modification. I made a full card base instead of a flat piece like she shows on her You Tube video.

This card used the color combo of Lovely Lipstick, Melon Mambo and Real Red along with Whisper White. The stamp set was Picture Perfect Birthday. The new 6x6 2018-2020 In-Color paper stack was used too. The colored enamel dots are retired that I used on the front.

Renee Kohnke provided the layout I cased for these two cards using the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper. These cards are very easy to construct using either Fresh Fig or Petal Pink cardstock as the base, then stamp the sentiments with the same color inks using the "Thank You" from the Accented Blooms set or the "happiness verse" from the Dandelion Wishes set.  Punch out with the Hexagon punch and you are all set. The card is finished with 1/8" Gold Ribbon which is now retired.

Cased from Cindy Elam.

The Southern Serenade stamp set is the focal point for this birthday card. Using the new Blends alcohol markers I colored the flower with Petal Pink and the leaves with Old Olive with a small bit of accents with Light Flirty Flamingo. I used some retired 2013-2015 In Color 12x12 Mint Macaron Designer Series Paper, along with Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock. The trim is also retired Vintage Crochet in Basic Black.  What's fun about this card is it can be made in just about any color combination to fit your taste. Give it a try!

When I saw this card, I said this is the perfect masculine card for practically any occasion using the sentiment from "Picked for You" stamped in Tranquil Tide ink. Night of Navy and Very Vanilla cardstock is paired with the retired True Gentleman Designer Series Paper makes it go together quickly. The 45 degree scored fold is approximately 2-2.5" from the corner. The Night of Navy buttons are very retired, but were perfect with some Very Vanilla Baker's Twine "sewn" through the button to finish off the "shirt."   This card should probably be hand delivered due to the thickness of the buttons.

Well, I hope these designs spur you on to try make some of your own.
Thanks for stopping by!
