Sparkly Easter Banner Idea

Here's a fun Easter Banner that I designed using complimentary papers and inks (Tangerine Tango, Perfect Plum, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, Melon Mambo and Gumball Green.) I used some remaining canvas banner flags that I had. Sponge with daubers a polka dot design using the bright inks on each one using a polka dot stencil. I found a commercial rabbit cut-out that I used to trace for the ears in silver glimmer paper. Then I made rosettes from an assortment of bright colored paper. After scoring the fold lines of the rosettes I added sticky tape to the edge and sprinkled silver glitter glass on the edge, pushing the glitter down into the tape. Then the rosette was folded carefully and hot glued into its circular shape.  The word "Easter" or you could use "Spring" was die cut letters using the silver glimmer paper glued to a matching 1-3/4" punched circle on top of a 2" silver paper scallop circle punch. 1/2" natural cotton twill tape was threaded to assemble the banner. This banner just says happy to me!
