10th Anniversary Project #7 and #8

Do you need an easy holiday gift? Then this is it!  A simple easel card holds a little tear-off monthly calendar (purchased from Taylored Expressions) and a pad of 3x3 post-its. You can customize it with any Designer Series Paper you have and any stamp set you have that has a saying you like. It is a great way to use up retired products you have in your collection. Give this a try!

Cutting Measurements:
Your choice of cardstock - 2 pieces
One is 4-1/4" x 11", scored at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2"
The other is 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"
2 pieces of Designer Series Paper - both cut at 4" x 5-1/4"
The rest is up to you on how you want to decorate underneath the calendar.

Assembly Hint:
Fold your card base at the middle score line. Attach the 4-1/4"x 5-1/2" cardstock to the lower section of the front with tear and tape or Stampin' Seal +, but do not go above he 2-3/4" score line. This is how you create the easel affect when the card is opened to secure the front behind the post it pad.

If you want to finish off your gift with a pen, that would be a nice touch!
