Stamp Club Cards for May

This collection of four cards were our May Stamp Club projects. I wanted something cheerful and fun to create!

This half easel card is a direct CASE from Sharon Burkert of As the Ink Dries. I just loved everything about it. The color scheme of Calypso Coral, Crisp Cantaloupe and Very Vanilla, with a hint of white using the Shimmery White paper to watercolor on. Peaceful Petals is the flower stamp set stamped with Black Stazon ink. Beautiful Wings Embosslit for the small butterflies. Very Vanilla Seam Binding for the bow.

This is an Artisan Team CASE from Constantly Stamping, Connie Collins. Mine on the left, hers on the right. So it is easy to see how I changed it up. I just loved all the mini banners hanging and I loved her bright color choices of Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Melon Mambo and Pacific Point. I also switched up the card base combo - Modern Medley DSP and Very Vanilla. I do have the say punching all those banners with the Banner Punch was time consuming!!!

This is my own original design for a graduation card using our local High School's colors of Cherry Cobbler (maroon) and Crushed Curry (gold) with Basic Black. Using the Alphabet Press Embossing Folder you can either use it with Co'ordinations Cherry Cobbler Paper and sand it or just use plain Cherry Cobbler cardstock. Either way it is a nice result.  The award "metal" is made from  5/8" Black Satin Ribbon, Apothecary Accents framelit, Label Bracket Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Window Punch with your choice of "congratulations" heat embossed with gold embossing powder for "pop!"  This card can be easily changed to match any school's colors.

This Mother's Day card can be made with any combination of colors and DSP that you have. I had been seeing this combination of Basic Gray and Summer Starfruit and I had to try it, since the Sweet Sorbet DSP from Sale-a-bration was so appealing. The only thing I would do differently than this sample is to stamp the Chalk Talk tag with Black Stazon instead of the Summer Starfruit ink for more contrast. I fussy cut the sentiment so it would have a border on the Extra Large Oval Punch. On the inside of the card I used Delightful Dozen for the mother greeting placed on top of more of the DSP punched with the Scallop Edge punch.  My ribbon accent was a Gray 5/8" Satin Ribbon with the Summer Starfruit Stitched Ribbon glued on top to become one unit for easier tying.

Thanks for reading my blog. Happy Stamping!
