It's Raining Cats and Dogs!

It was so great to have small group card classes in my home this past weekend. It was so much fun, I forgot to take photos of my ladies stamping at the table!

Over the course of the next week or so, I'll be sharing the collection of cards my customers were able to choose from. Since I have a very faithful group of local stampers, I like to offer them a selection usually of 6-7 designs. They RSVP to reserve their seat at the table, and let me know how many they want to make and which designs they want to make. I do require a four card minimum, but most like to make more, and some do multiples of a couple designs.  My stampers love my offering customizing of their card class experience.

My Raining Cats and Dogs Cards were inspired by Tonya Byrd.
The color theme was Basic Black, Real Red, Basic White, Cinnamon Cider,  and Smoky Slate.
The Layering Squares Dies and Red Rhinestone Jewels were also used.

As you scroll through this post you'll see how I embellished the card interior and envelopes for a complete finished look.

You will also see links to my online store for the products I'm highlighting in this post. I've noted the items that are retiring soon and you should order today if you want them as they are while supplies last.

Two Sale-A-bration Cards You Can Make

Wanna make two cute cards? You can with just a few supplies and the FREE 48 piece Oh So Ombre 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper  (DSP) Stack you can make these two darling cards. You can receive this FREE item valued at $11.50 retail when you place a $50 Stampin' Up! order with me before shipping and handling.

I cased this card design from County Cards by Rose because I loved it so.

Start with a Rococo Rose card base, a layer of Basic Black cardstock, then the layer of the Oh So Ombre paper and the banner tag made from the reverse side of the ombre paper punched with the Triple Banner Punch. Next you'll need the FREE Sale-a-bration Touch of Ink stamp set (or one similar you may already own), Rococo Rose ink, and Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Stamp those images on a Basic White circle die cut from the Layering Circles Dies. Before you attach all the layers together wrap the Black & White Baker's Twine from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack around the top 3 layers and tie a bow. Affix those layers to the card base with Dimensionals.
Voila! A lovely card results!

I cased this card but didn't write down the designers name. Ugh! I hate when I mess up like that - everyone deserves their due credit. Please forgive if it is your card. Let me know and I will fix it!

This hummingbird card is built with many of the same products linked above, but with a fun fold. All you do is score at 4" and 5-1/2" on the 4-1/4" x 11" Bermuda Bay base. Use Tear and Tape to secure the 1-1/2" section to the back of the card base. The  two pieces of Oh So Ombre DSP are cut 1-1/4" x 4" and the other 3-3/4" x 4" (you'll also need a piece of Basic White for the inside cut these same dimensions.)  I colored the Hummingbird with Stampin' Blends in Bermuda Bay. Finishing the card with a few Rhinestone Jewels.
Another easy card all done!

Here's all the sides of the Oh So Ombre DSP. The four colors are Rococo Rose, Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss and Granny Apple Green.

Below are the images of the Touch of Ink stamp set which you can also get FREE
during Sale-a-bration.  I just love the line art and font in this set!

10th Anniversary Projects #3

I did a direct CASE of Karin's Papercrafts Window Box Project because it was so cute, I just had to try it for myself. I did select different patterns from the same package of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper that she used. So now you have two looks to decide between.

Here is Karin's Papercrafts You Tube Video - Why mess with greatness? Her idea was genius!

Thanks for stopping by today for another gift giving option to use during this holiday season.
