Sharing Sunshine Stamp Set Cards #4

Hello Sunshine! Here's the last of my four card collection I've made with the casual stamper in mind. This is my favorite out of the four cards I've showed you this week. I saved the best for last! I hope you like it too! I'd love to know in the comments!

The Sharing Sunshine stamp set has been so fun to create with. So many combinations and possibilities for designing the cutest cards ever!

One thing I realized I neglected to mention until now, is when you are stamping the rays, you will do two-step stamping. Step 1 - fully inked image, Step -2 rotate a little bit and stamp again, will give you the light and darker rays that makes Mr. Sun so darling.

This card design is an original because I've used the "Hello Sunshine" stamps from the June 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit, the retired Sunburst Die, and current cardstock - Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight, Basic White, and the Rainbow Glimmer Paper. You can't see in the photo but I dry embossed the Daffodil Delight with the retired Subtle embossing folder. Inks used were Daffodil Delight, Polished Pink, and Memento Tuxedo Black. The greeting was fussy cut out and raised on mini dimensionals.

If you have all these supplies in your collection, along with purchasing the current stamp set from my online store, you'll be all set to make this card in multiple quantities!  It is also an easy to mail card because there are no additional embellishments. Only one stamp will be needed to surprise your friends with this cheerful card. The Glimmer paper does all the work providing lots of bling too!

Dont' forget that Sale-a-Bration is going on until the end of September, so for every $50 spent before shipping and tax you will be able to choose a free items from the Sale-a-Bration rewards when you check out! Average reward value $11.50-$16.00. Isn't that awesome!

Celebrate Independence Day Improv Card

For some reason I rarely make 4th of July cards so I thought I'd see what I could come up with recently using products I had in my stamp room.

I'm not sure I love my creation, but it was practice in coming up with something from nothing. I do feel it shows America's 245th Birthday with lots of stars which is a symbol of our country. It also has red, white, and blue in there, so that's not too bad, right?

The current products used were the Creating with Friends stamp set, Night of Navy cardstock and ink, Daffodil Delight cardstock, Basic White cardstock, Real Red ink.

Retired products were the Sunburst Die, Star Dies, Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper, Red Glimmer Paper, White Glimmer Paper, Night of Navy Foil.

Share in the comments what you think of my Improv Card.
Have a Happy 4th of July and enjoy your day!

April 16, 2016 Card Class

Here's the cards my stamping group made for April. Since Stampin' Up! is promoting #imbringingbirthdaysback I thought I would do the same with this collection of cards.

I CASEd this sunny card from Pinterest, but it didn't have a watermark on it.
The source I believe is www.inchofcreativity.com
The materials used were the thick Whisper White cardstock, Crushed Curry cardstock and heavy vellum, Tree Builder punch to make the clouds, the Sunburst Thinlits Die, Circle Framelits, Hello stamp set from the recent Sale-A-Bration promotion, and It's My Party Designer Series Paper plus The Big Shot die machine. Crushed Curry ink, Basic Black Archival Ink and a Rhinestone Jewel to top it off. The only non SU item was the vellum adhesive tape. Unfortunately I've had that so long I don't remember where I purchased it.

I CASEd the layout from www.stampingwithkristi.com but changed up a few materials and increased the size of the rose to the larger one from the Rose Garden Thinlits Dies. Those dies coordinate with the Rose Wonder Stamp set. The color theme is Pool Party, Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Mossy Meadow, Watermelon Wonder plus the lovely floral from Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper pack. You'll also need the Blushing Bride ribbon from the Love Blossoms Embellishment kit, the small flower punch from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Pearl Jewels, Fine Tip Glue Pin, Dimensionals and your Big Shot machine.

I was inspired by many cards on Pinterest that used the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper. This is the easiest card to make! You need Mint Macaron cardstock, Basic Black cardstock, two pieces (rose and lace) from the Timeless Elegance DSP, a sponge dauber, Mint Macaron ink, and the Mint Macaron Lace ribbon. Just sponge lightly over the roses in your choice of location until you achieve your desired darkness of ink. Assemble the layers and tie the lace. The greeting I used was from Circle of Spring stamp set stamped in Black Stazon ink.

My card's layout was inspired by Barb Mullikin of www.barbstamps.com.
This drapery fold is so lovely and really popular now plus it is not too hard to do. You'll just need your Score Board to make it happen. The color scheme is Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Lost Lagoon. The Designer Series Paper is Wildflower Fields from the recent Sale-A-Bration promotion. You can't see it in the photo, but I used the Stripes embossing folder on the Blackberry Bliss paper for added texture. The stamp set is Watercolor Words. The flower and leaves are fussy cut and assembled before attaching it to the Lost Lagoon ribbon. The flower center is a polka dotted brad that's about 4 years old I had in my collection.

Hope you are having a sunny spring and enjoying making pretty cards like these. Thanks for stopping by!
